From Cabernet to Tempranillo

This thoughtfully paced journey moves through three distinct regions of France and Spain. We Begin exploring Bordeaux before heading south into the French Basque Country. We end our journey Crossing into Spain and experiencing la Rioja.

Along the way, we cook, taste, and gather around shared tables, discovering each region not only through its wines, but through the people, landscapes, and traditions that define them.

September 30th-October 11th 
What to Expect
❋ Days 1-4: Bordeaux

Our journey begins in Bordeaux, where we explore both the Left and Right Banks through visits to historic châteaux, vineyard tastings, oyster farms, and time in the city’s beautiful historic center. Along the way we share meals, cook at a château, and experience the traditions that have shaped one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions.

❋ Days 5-7: Basque Country

Our journey continues into the French Basque Country, where vibrant local traditions and coastal landscapes shape daily life. Based in the historic town of Bayonne, we explore inland villages and seaside communities, visit local producers, and enjoy regional specialties that reflect the strong cultural identity of this unique region.

The journey concludes in Spain’s Rioja wine region, where vineyard-covered hills surround the medieval village of Laguardia. Here we visit family wineries, walk historic streets, and experience the lively food culture of nearby towns, celebrating the wines, flavors, and warm hospitality that define this beloved region.

How It Works

  • Sign up and pay all a 20% deposit to reserve your spot. Full payment is required three months prior to the trip.

  • After booking, we'll send you a Welcome Packet with everything you need to know—detailed schedules, city guides, important info to consider, and more.

  • We'd recommend booking your travel as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.

  • Now all that's left to do is pack your bags (don’t worry, we have tips and tricks for that too) and get excited for your new adventure!
