Some trips you visit. These you taste.

Sip & Savor creates unhurried food and wine journeys for curious travelers who value connection, culture, and good taste over spectacle.

Hi, I’m Alissa - a Washington-based wine industry professional, former Spain resident, and lifelong enthusiast of long lunches and even longer wine lists. Sip & Savor grew out of years traveling throughout the world and realizing that the best experiences, the ones
that actually stay with you, happen when someone who knows the place takes you behind the obvious. I built this so more people could have those moments. I just happen to come along!

About Me

How We Travel

Every Sip & Savor journey is built around the same idea: real access, real connections, and enough space to actually enjoy them.

We keep groups small on purpose. We go to places because we have relationships there — with the winemaker who opens the cellar on a Sunday, the chef who sets a table in the garden just for us. You don't get that by booking through an agency.

You bring the curiosity. We handle everything else. The only thing you're responsible for is showing up hungry.

Upcoming Itineraries

From Cabernet to Tempranillo

Bordeaux to La Rioja — fresh oysters on the Atlantic coast, pinchos and Tempranillo in a medieval walled village. This twelve-day journey through Bordeaux, the Basque Country, and La Rioja moves through three of Europe's great food and wine cultures. And you'll travel the best way: slowly, deliciously, and with nowhere you'd rather be.
